16 yr girl has cough accompined with sputum from about 1 weeks what is the diagnosis and the different between it and dry cough ?

Dry not productive: Dry coughs do not produce anything. Boith can be caused by problems such as infection, allergy, medications, and so on. Many of those problems are self-limited. After about a week or so, i get concerned about a bacterial infection as a possibility, especially if someone feels bad, has fever or other symptoms. The longer something lasts, the more a good evalaution becomes important.
