Breakthrough bleed: Sounds like you are having some breakthrough bleeding. This can be due to hormone changes, stress, changes in weight. It's normal to have mucous/discharge every day, so the fact that it's mixed with blood isn't concerning. You have cysts on your cervix (every woman has) whose sole purpose is to make mucous! if bleeding recurs or bothers you, consider seeing gynecologist.
