Yes: Loratadine is an antihistamine (decrease itching, runny nose)and phenylephrine is a decongestant (decrease stuffiness, congestion). Decongestants like phenylephrine may be used for a short duration to relieve congestive symptoms. Need to monitor your blood pressure as it can cause very elevated blood pressures while on this medicine.

Is it possible for me to take phenylephrine and Claritin (loratadine) together?

Yes: Claritin (loratadine) is a new generation antihistamine while phenylephrine is an oral decongestant. It would be similar but not identical to taking a claritin-d.
