Yes you can.: Although not common, it is possible.
Hormones and other factors preclude the occurrence.
However it is possible but very rare.

Go to L&D: If you are 6 1/2 months pregnant, and feeling pressure down below in the pelvic region, or in the vagina, go to labor & delivery now to be evaluated for possible preterm labor. Sometimes women in the 6-8th month of pregnancy don't feel contractions per se, only pressure, so get checked out and be sure and safe!
