Yes, very common: Funny you should mention it. Many of my patients describe this. This may be due to a variety of factors which include normal swelling and inflammation following any surgical trauma as well as constipation that occurs with dehydration or narcotic analgesic use. Activity, decreased narcotics, and ly pharos massage may help.
