Skin infection: Cellulitis (not cellulotis) is an infection of the skin causing redness, warmth, swelling and tenderness. It involves the skin and subcutaneous tissues, and is most commonly caused by the skin bacteria staph or strep. Treatment is with antibiotics that are active against these bacteria.
