It might: Lupus, as a multisystem disease can affect muscle as we'll . There may be muscle achenes or inflammation of muscle with muscle damage weakness and atrophy. It is important to be seen medically to determine if there is actual muscle damage or just muscle achenes related to the overall disease you may also have muscle discomfort related to joint disease.
