Ovulation : Cramping right after ovulation is a common and harmless condition that occurs in most women who are experiencing their menstrual cycle whereby the egg is released by a mature ovarian follicle in order to reproduce. This is result of the stretching of the ovary which is caused by a developing follicle. The rupture of the follicle can cause cramps. This should resolve in a few hours. See dr if not.
