Many reasons . . : Infertility, defined as no pregnancy after one year of unprotected sexual activity, can be a result of abnormalities with the male, the female, or both. Discovering the reason for your specific problem may involve evaluation of both you and your partner. If there are no obvious symptoms, most work ups start with the male completing a semen analysis and then go from there.
