Birth-control: Taking birth control pills is very safe and less you have certain medical conditions which preclude their use. They are out of your system about seven days after you stop taking them regardless of how long you've been on them. You should stop taking them about a week before you plan to get pregnant. You don't need to wean off birth-control you simply stop taking it and then you can get pregnant.
