Eustachian tube: The ear/nose/thorat area is interconnected. The eustachian tube connects the ear canal to the rest ; sensitive to changes of pressure. When you are taking a shower, turbulence happens to air with the steam rising, the shower curtain draws in. The eustachian tube experiences something similar in your case when you run. Perhaps the shape in your body is narrower, perhaps, you have sinusitis etc.
