Need a sleep study: If you are 18 years old and have hypertension, then a sleep specialist should evaluate you for sleep apnea which causes chronic daytime sleepiness and hypertension. Best wishes. If that is not the case, make sure depression is not causing it and start out seeing a psychiatrist. Best wishes.
