A member asked:

Is there any link between acanthosis nigricans & hypogonadism?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Insulin resistance: Acanthosis nigricans is a skin condition most commonly associated with obesity and Insulin resistance. In men, obesity can contribute to low testosterone and hypogonadism. In women it is associated with polycystic ovaries and infertility. So the link to hypogonadism is through Insulin resistance, not directly from the skin condition.
