Not likely: Could have calf muscle spasms but achilles' tendon 'spasms' i've not heard of. Possibly u strained your tendon and that's what u r feeling. Best of luck!

Hurt when squeezed?: If it hurts when squeezed or with passive range of motion, it could be a blood clot. You may want to discuss with your personal physician.
