Very unlikely: First it is very rare. Second- onset would usually be around ages 40 to 60. Try some good sleep hygiene ; if not successful then talk with your doctor. Etire ; rise same time each day. Keep bedroom dark ; cool ; use only for sex ; sleep. Turn off tv. No naps. Exercise regularly but not in late evening. No caffeine for 6 hrs ; no alcohol or tobacco w/i 2 hrs of sleep. No: It's an extremely rare illness and tends to be hereditary. But if you are not tired despite not sleeping as much as usual (and you're not taking any drugs to cause that, including caffeine), then check with your doctor about bipolar disorder. That's much more common and is treatable and manageable.
