Probably BV: Bacterial vaginosis is the most common cause of vaginal discharge and odor. It is not a sexually transmitted disease but rather an overgrowth of normal vaginal bacteria. When the vagina is exposed to blood for long periods of time as you describe this raises the ph of the vagina making bacterial vaginosis more likely.
