A member asked:

What to do when you burned your hand with fry pan?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Ice: For all burns immediately put ice on it for 15-20 minutes - which can be an ice pack, a bag of frozen vegetables, or whatever is at hand. This will do an amazing amount of good. Do not slather it with butter or vaseline. Protect it thereafter from abrasion. See a doctor if the burn appears deep or the pain is too severe. But always think ice first.
