Medical Care: There is no cook book approach and this question is very difficult to answer. What your OB does is most likely appropriate and thorough. If this is your first pregnancy then you will be advised to get a book on pregnancy and/or prenatal care so that you can have a guide to learn what to expect and to learn what is normal for you. It may be wise to get one of these books soon.
