Marijuana - Heart: Marijuana doesn't directly cause cardiac arrest. What may happen is smoking marijuana may lead to excessive sleepiness ; slow down the breathing. That may lead to low oxygen ; end up with cardiac arrest. In addition, people that smoke marijuana tend to mix it with alcohol or other drugs; which makes scenario above even more possible. Last, not all marijuana is pure/clean (may be laced with drugs).
