What is the best treatment for small red bumps on 1 year old?

Need to see it: There are so many possibilities that i cannot answer this question. It would be helpful to know how long the child has had it, what part of body, is it painful or not, how large is it, etc. If you can answer these questions together with a good picture of the bump, i can narrow down the diagnosis considerably, and thus recommend the treatment.
