Yes: Regular ovulation occurs 14 days before a 28-day period, so one would not get pregnant 7 days before the period. If, for whatever reason, the ovulation is delayed by 7 or more days, then pregnancy is possible. When you miss your period, do a pregnancy test. If it's negative, repeat 1 and 2 weeks later.

Yes: Ovulation is estimated to be 2 weeks before the first day of the next menstrual period. If 28-day cycles, it would mean it takes 2 weeks to go from the first day of the last menstrual period (called the LMP) to get to ovulation day. If 21-day cycles, it would take 1 week to get to ovulation day. If trying for a baby, one should have sex from 4 days before ovulation, through 1 day after ovulation.

If you ovulated: Anyone having intercourse without birth control or condoms is at risk of getting pregnant. If sperm is deposited in the vagina then pregnancy is possible.
