Anything to worry about if i have narrow ribbon like stools?

Possibly: A change in stool caliber could be due to hemorrhoids however a colonoscopy to evaluate for the presence of a rectal mass that could cause stool narrowing is necessary.

What defines Ribbon-like stools? Is it literally the thickness of a Ribbon (which is about an 1/8th of an inch)?
My stool was coming out long, flat & ribbon-like. But now it's coming out in much smaller flat pieces. Like shards. I also go about 3-5 times a day.
Stool has a bit of an oval/sqeezed look. Tho not flat or ribbon or anything. It is possible my stool always looked like that and i just never looked.
