Yes: Meats and proteins can cause heart burn. High-risk meats are ground chuck, marbled sirloin, chicken nuggets and chicken wings; low- to moderate-risk meats and proteins include lean ground beef, scrambled eggs, fried eggs, fried fish, hot dogs, ham, peanut butter, baked beans and tuna salad.
