A member asked:

Would symptoms of cns vasculitis go on for months without major complications?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

No.: While possible this would be very unlikely. Without treatment the disease typically progresses and causes death in less than a year. There are people who report symptoms for months prior to obtaining a diagnosis and others with a rapidly progressive course. If you or someone you care about may have this disease go to a rheumatologist with experience in this disease as soon as possible.
