Enzymes are catalyst: Digestive enzymes help with the digestion ; absorption of food and other things, we eat. They are mainly present in the stomach, intestines, liver, pancreas, gall bladder, etc. Having low enzymes mean having less amounts of enzymes than needed for digestion and absorption. Enzymes are available in the form of pills or capsules. Finding and treating the cause of low enzymes is most important.
