Not your heart: This is not a heart symptom. The pain likely is related to the muscles, tendons, ligaments, or joint of your left shoulder. Alternatively, it could be caused by nerve impingement of your upper (cervical) spine compressing the dorsal roots or of the peripheral nerves in your brachial plexus.
