Since most people already have the virus hsv1, it has no effect on them. Prescription pills are very effective if used correctly, and very safe. Most people who harbor the virus require no treatment since they have no symptoms.

Herpes confuses me. If a couple hasn't been exposed to herpes simplex virus like mostly everyone, then that means they won't ever get cold sores ?
