amenorrhea: One of the potential side effects of Depo Provera (medroxyprogesterone) is that your period will stop or become very light. Its a normal and non harmful side effect. However, just to be safe i would do a pregnancy test as Depo Provera (medroxyprogesterone) is only 95% effective.
