What is the treatment of gastric muscosal prolapse?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

depends: There are two types of gastric mucosal prolapse. The mucosa can prolapse into the esophagus or the duodenum. If symptomatic a prolapse into the esophagus can be treated surgically by a nissen fundoplication. Not sure about options for prolapse into the duodenum.
