What does it mean to have flashing vision during a panic attack? what would you see flashing?

Beats me: I have never had a patient complain of it in 30 years of practice.I have read the symptom reported on thee wikipedia web site, princeton's web site and on blog posts, but i can't find any that simply describe it. Maybe one of my colleagues has encountered this and will be able to give a description of it, but i cannot find a description of it after some time searching.
