Sure lact intol?: If you are sure the symptoms are due to lactose intolerance, as opposed to lots of other causes, e.g. Ulcers, infection, inflammatory bowel, celiac, parasites, tumors, other, then warm beverages may help stimulate bowel and pass gas. Gas-x works in stomach not farther down. Peppermint oil, chamomile, fennel, caraway all decrease spasm in bowel-may help. If recurrent symptom, see md.
