Does adhd medications have long term side effects , specially if taken for long time ?

I think so: I strongly believe that some day there will be serious side effects reporting. Almost never used in europe but widely in us. How can this be? Depends the specific medication but Adderall (dextroamphetamine and racemic amphetamine) can cause heart attacks and even death. I stop that stuff in most of my patients!
