A 47-year-old member asked:

How do you know if you have decreased night vision or some night blindness?

Dr. Richard Bensinger
Ophthalmology 53 years experience
Comparison: If you think you have difficulty at night, and are not embarrassed to ask, then compare your recovery when entering a dark place from the light with a friend who can tell you when he recovers versus your recovery time. You can experience this issue if present if you enter a dark movie theater from bright outside and have a prolonged period to see well enough to find a seat.
Created for people with ongoing healthcare needs but benefits everyone.
