If norovirus got into the respiratory tract... can it cause a respiratory infection?

Sort of...: Norovirus usually causes more GI problems than pulmonary, but cough can develop. Usually, an infection is self limited, but if it was severe, and you became physically diminished, then secondary pneumonia could develop. Hope this helps. Good luck.
