Dengue Virus: As a viral infection dengue fever has no specific treatment. Patients should be monitored for bleeding and low blood pressure and given treatments to address those issues. Fever can be treated with fever reducing medications (acetaminophen/paracetamol, ibuprofen, naproxen, etc.).
