Hypothetically (although dangerous) can an alcohol induced coma terminate a grand mal seizure just like an induced coma with propofol?

Possibly: It may stop a seizure related to dt's caused by alcohol withdrawal in dependent individuals, hypothetically. It is a very poor choice to treat a seizure for which benzodiazepines or barbiturates are the drugs of choice.
