Opioid constipation: Constipation is a major concern in those taking opioids eg butran. Prevention w/stool softeners ; laxatives is imperative as you won't develop tolerance to narcotic-induced constipation, unlike other side effects. If otc isn't enough, ask your prescribing doc for prescription stuff like lubiprostone, linaclotide ; methylnaltrexone.
