Pumping/expressing: First, you should consult your child's pediatrician for the lack of appetite and low hemoglobin. That being said, expressing or pumping your breastmilk is one way of maintaining your milk supply so you can continue to breastfeed. However, pumping or expressing breastmilk is not a natural process; we are not meant to be hooked up to a machine! so it does take time and a bit of learning curve...
