There are several: Reasons why people bleed outside of a normal cycle. It is not unusual and a very common reason why people get on the birth control pill. If this persists, there is pain or fever then go see your doc. My guess is irregular ovulation. Good luck.

Cortisone, break thr: First choice is cortisone injection, may be breakthrough bleeding from oral contraceptives. If not on birth control , do a pregnancy test.
