A member asked:

Can std's cause foamy urine?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Not likely: Foamy or bubbly urine is a result of protein spillage in the urine. Tis is usually from high protein diets and poses no health problem, occasionally this care be the heralding sign of kidney disease. I would recommend evaluation by your general practitioner for routine blood and urine tests. If you have had unprotected intercourse, evaluation for stds is also appropriate.
