Never;: Too much water intake result in too much urination only. When there is diarrhea, drink a lot of fluid. Increased fluid intake prevents dehydration. If diarrhea continues, electrolytes e.g. Sodium, potassium, chloride, bicarbonate (sodium bicarbonate) are lost, leading to fluid and electrolyte imbalance with dehydration. Need to drink electrolyte solution (e.g. Pedialyte) along with regular food. Avoid leafy vegetables.
