Has there ever been a documented case of an asbetos related illness or symptoms of exposure just months after exposure.

It sounds like: You are trying to figure out whether or not you have asbestosis. It is very unlikely after limited exposure after a couple of months but you may want to consult the doc who ordered your chest x-ray, my guess is its not asbestos. Maybe you will get a better answer.
