Probably not: I think by the way you are defining brain damage, it is not likely that there is any detrimental irreversible process associated with not taking the medicine. However, if treatment of the condition facilitates the acquisition of skills or allows one to manifest capabilities more consistently, it could be argued that an individual may be more dysfunctional by lack of treatment.
