See a doctor: If experience vaginal bleed while on depot, your wife need to see her doctor to find out the other causes. Currently i still recommend you use proper protection during sex until your wife's doctor find out the true cause.

Caution: Break-through bleeding on depoprovera is known to occur as a side effect. It also can be a sign of cervical or ovarian problems, so must be reported to her physician. There is a non-zero risk of pregnancy in your situation, so use barrier protection.
