No it does not: No Prednisone does not cause kidney damage.Long term use of Prednisone with moderate to high doses of Prednisone can cause elevation of blood pressure, but if the dose is reduced or Prednisone is stopped, the blood pressure comes down to normal. But no kidney damage.
