Yes: The aca created a 10% excise tax on indoor tanning services that went into effect in 2010. The aca also taxes medical equipment and devices. There are dozens of new and expanded taxes in it as well as many new irs reporting requirements. The sun is not taxed yet, so many people still choose to get 15 minutes of sunlight a day to stimulate vitamin d production. Tanning beds are not great for you.
