A member asked:

I have a dull pain at the point where my rib cage joins (i.e. above my stomach) that intensifies after eating. the pain came a few days ago suddenly.

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Will be nice: To have more information and associated symptoms like any nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, burning sensation, heart burn, worse with fatty foods or spicy foods etc. That's the importance of a history and physical. But, after eating abdominal pain points toward gallbladder disease like cholecystitis and gastritis and gastric ulcer disease. Do not take any Ibuprofen like medicines. See a physician soon.
