Do your best: Without knowing why you're taking the med, or your drug history (what else you're taking or if you're transitioning to it from another narcotic), it's hard to say what to expect from taking this med. But I do want to emphasize to you that this is a dangerous, highly addictive drug. You should make sure you have pursued all other options for pain relief before turning to a chronic narcotic!

probably acclimate: Nausea is a side effect of narcotics to which most patients become tolerant to over time. Your physician may consider prescribing medications to help with your nausea if it is markedly interfering with your normal activities.
