What is vaginismus?

Pain on insertion: Vaginismus produces vaginal "tonic" contractions at the opening of the vagina which if entry is "forced" pain will result. Painful intravaginal intercourse has different causes. Try positional changes to see if that helps, and if not see an ob-gyn md.
