Depends.: Probably the most common reason for bleeding after a hysterectomy is granulation tissue where the vagina was sewn together. This tissue is normal healing tissue but bleeds easily. It can be removed in the office with silver nitrate or cautery. See your doctor to discuss the reason for your bleeding.
